ESG reporting, particularly under frameworks like CSRD, presents a unique challenge, with over 1,000 data points spanning carbon emissions, HR, operations, pollution, finance, and more. This information is fragmented and often lacks structure, with 70+% being narrative-driven. Traditional approaches tackle this complexity through massive data-gathering initiatives, Advancements in AI, particularly through Large Language Models, offer a radically different approach. Instead of merely automating processes, content-centered software can directly generate comprehensive and compliant ESG reports. This talk will explore how this content-generation approach significantly enhances the reporting process, using CSRD reporting as a case study.
